PA66 standard nylon cable ties: the most commonly used, for car interior/low-voltage wiring harnesses, with a temperature resistance of about -40~85 ℃, requiring black raw material and UV resistant modification
Temperature resistant modified PA66 (PA66 HS): conventional area of engine compartment, resistant to 105~125 ℃
PA46/PA12: High temperature areas (near the turbine and exhaust manifold) or oil and salt spray resistant chassis areas, PA12 has better resistance to snow melting agents and fuel
ETFE/PPS/PEEK: High cost in extreme high temperature or new energy high-pressure areas
Stainless steel zip ties (304, etc.): around the exhaust pipe, in areas of strong corrosion/excessive vibration, usually equipped with corrugated pipe sheaths
Flame retardant cable ties (V0/V2): battery pack, high-voltage wire harness, meet UL94 flame retardant requirements

2、 Classified by structure and fixation method (most commonly used classification)
Ordinary self-locking nylon cable tie: single/double toothed, used for cable tying, divided into single toothed and double toothed (anti vibration)
Loose/adjustable zip ties: can be repeatedly disassembled and assembled, suitable for trial production, maintenance, and testing of wire harnesses
Sugimoto head/arrow push in cable tie: The head teeth are directly inserted into the prefabricated hole of the sheet metal without screws, which is the most commonly used on the production line
Screw/bolt fixed cable tie: with mounting seat, locked on welded stud or bracket, preferred for heavy-duty engine compartment
Sheet metal edge clip type: stuck in the sheet metal flange without opening holes, suitable for door panels and the inner side of bumpers

Adhesive fixed seat+zip tie: flat adhesive, only suitable for low vibration areas (use with caution in engine compartment/chassis)
Double bundle cable tie: one head divided into two compartments, two strands of wire harness isolated and tied together
Waterproof zip ties with sealing rings: areas requiring water immersion, wheel compartments, and battery pack sealing
Special buckle/tie for corrugated pipe: matched with the outer diameter positioning of the wire harness corrugated pipe to prevent movement

3、 Subdivide layout by usage scenario
Cockpit/interior: thin PA66, low noise level (NVH), V0 flame retardant, no burrs on the head
Engine compartment: heat-resistant PA66/PA46, double toothed lock buckle, fixed with screws or cedar heads
Chassis/wheel arch: UV resistant, salt spray resistant, impact resistant, PA12 or weather resistant modified material
New energy high-voltage wiring harness: orange identification, flame-retardant V0, arc resistant, no metal shavings
Inside the battery pack: low precipitation, flame retardant, lightweight, often used in conjunction with plastic buckles
